Dr. Daniel J. Davis, DVM
Owner, Veterinarian
Dr. Daniel Davis graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. With decades of hands-on experience, he is known for his calm demeanor, diagnostic skill, and genuine care for animals and their families. Before founding Florence Veterinary Hospital, he practiced at Grants Lick Veterinary Hospital and its Pendleton County branch. Dr. Davis is passionate about strengthening the human-animal bond through personalized veterinary medicine.
Dr. Allison Shepherd, DVM
Veterinarian
A graduate of Tuskegee Veterinary College, Dr. Allison Shepherd brings extensive experience in emergency veterinary medicine to the team. Known for her steady hand and compassionate approach, she is dedicated to providing advanced medical care in both routine and urgent situations. Outside the clinic, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her husband, Brice, their two daughters, and their beloved dogs and cats.
Dr. Julie Wolfe Mudman, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Julie Mudman is a native of Burlington, KY, and a 2008 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is known for her kind-hearted nature and special interest in equine and companion animal care. When she’s not seeing patients, Dr. Mudman enjoys horseback riding with her family and friends, embracing her rural roots.
Dr. Kate Middendorf, DVM - Part Time
Veterinarian
Dr. Kate Middendorf is an experienced small animal veterinarian serving in a part-time capacity at Florence Veterinary Hospital. Her thoughtful approach to patient care and years of clinical expertise make her a valued member of our veterinary team.
